2. User-Generated Content & License Grant

By submitting a review, including any text, photographs, videos, or other materials ("User Content"), you grant TailorTail Co a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to:

  • Use, display, reproduce, modify, and publish your User Content
  • Display your review and photos on our website, including product pages and homepage sections
  • Use your User Content on our social media accounts and marketing materials
  • Sublicense the content to third-party platforms where our products are listed

Your submitted photos will be publicly visible on our website. By uploading a photo, you explicitly consent to it being displayed on our product pages, homepage reviews section, and any other area of our site where customer reviews are featured.

You retain ownership of your User Content. This license simply grants us the right to display and use it in connection with our business.

3. Content Guidelines

When submitting a review, you agree that your content:

  • Is truthful and reflects your genuine experience with our product
  • Does not contain false, misleading, or defamatory statements
  • Does not include profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language
  • Does not contain spam, advertising, or promotional content for other businesses
  • Does not include personal information of others (phone numbers, addresses, etc.)
  • Does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights

4. Photo Requirements

When uploading photos with your review, you confirm that:

  • You are the original photographer or have full rights to the image
  • The photo does not contain copyrighted material owned by others
  • The photo does not contain inappropriate, offensive, or explicit content
  • The photo is relevant to the product being reviewed
  • You consent to the photo being publicly displayed on our website and marketing channels
  • Any people depicted in the photo have given their consent to be photographed and have their image displayed publicly

5. Right to Remove Content

TailorTail Co reserves the right to remove, edit, or refuse to publish any User Content at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Content deemed inappropriate or off-topic
  • Suspected fraudulent or incentivized reviews
  • Legal requirements or third-party complaints

6. Incentives & Discount Codes

We may offer discount codes as a thank-you for submitting a review. If provided:

  • Discount codes are for single use only and cannot be reused
  • Codes have no cash or monetary value
  • Codes cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise
  • We reserve the right to expire or revoke codes at any time
  • Receiving a discount does not obligate you to leave a positive review — we value honest feedback

7. Privacy & Data Collection

When you submit a review, we collect:

  • Your first name and last name (displayed publicly with your review)
  • Your email address (not displayed publicly; used for discount code delivery)
  • Your star rating and review text (displayed publicly)
  • Any photos you upload (displayed publicly)

Your email address will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is used solely for sending your discount code and any follow-up related to your review.

8. Limitation of Liability

TailorTail Co is not responsible for any User Content submitted by customers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of reviews. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TailorTail Co shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the review system or reliance on any User Content displayed on our site.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the review system after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
